Overview
PACKD is a pack-opening product on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Open a drop with USDG and receive a real tokenized stock ERC-20.
$PACKD trading tax (via Flap) funds the prize vault, buybacks, and ops — so the token still earns from volume even though packs are paid in stablecoins.
One-liner
Pay USDG → pull real stocks. $PACKD fees keep the vault filled.
The loop
- Pay USDG to open — packs are priced in stablecoins.
- Flap buy/sell tax on $PACKD routes into FeeVault.
- Vault splits into prizes, buyback & burn, and ops.
Pack proceeds also top up the reserve / jackpot and can buyback-burn $PACKD.
How to play
- Connect a wallet and switch to Robinhood Chain.
- Hold USDG for packs (and optionally $PACKD to stake for better odds).
- Choose a drop — Chip Drop, Mega Bag, or Orbit Rip.
- Approve USDG and open. Your open is anchored to a future block.
- A moment later it settles: rarity is rolled from that block’s hash and the matching stock token is bought on-chain and sent to your wallet.
Settlement is permissionless — a keeper normally triggers it, but if it ever doesn’t, you can settle your own open and still receive your stock. See Randomness for how the outcome is made fair.
Tokenomics
$PACKD launches on Flap as a taxed token (TOKEN_TAXED_V3). Tax routes into our custom vault.
Trading tax
| Side | Tax |
|---|---|
| Buy | 4% |
| Sell | 6% |
Tax split (FeeVault)
| Bucket | Share | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Prize / jackpot vault | 30% | Buys stock tokens to pay out |
| Buyback & burn | 50% | Buys $PACKD and burns it |
| Operations | 20% | Gas, randomness, marketing, build |
When you open a pack
| Bucket | Share |
|---|---|
| Prize vault | 80% |
| Burn | 10% |
| Jackpot vault | 10% |
Flap pays the tax to the FeeVault in native ETH; the vault wraps and swaps it to USDG (prizes) and $PACKD (buyback & burn) with an oracle slippage floor. The owner can pause buybacks (that share goes to ops) or redirect 100% of fees to a single treasury wallet.
Packs & odds
Each drop is a curated ticker set with its own odds and payout ranges set on-chain — so the three packs are genuinely different products, not reskins. Only stocks the vault can actually buy on-chain are eligible.
| Drop | Tickers | Price | Style |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chip Drop | NVDA · AMD · MU · INTC | $9.99 USDG | Balanced entry |
| Mega Bag | AAPL · META · AMZN · GOOGL | $14.99 USDG | Premium — higher floor |
| Orbit Rip | TSLA · SPCX · NVDA · AMD | $11.99 USDG | High variance |
Per-pack rarity odds
| Drop | Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chip Drop | 60% | 30% | 8% | 2% |
| Mega Bag | 55% | 32% | 10% | 3% |
| Orbit Rip | 63% | 26% | 8% | 3% |
Each pack holds one ticker per tier, so the per-stock odds above are exactly what the contract rolls. Rarer tiers pay bigger prize budgets; the exact ranges also differ per pack (Mega Bag has the highest floor, Orbit Rip the biggest legendary ceiling).
Randomness
PACKD uses a commit-reveal scheme, not a trusted operator roll. When you open, the request is anchored to a future block that doesn’t exist yet.
- Opening records your entropy + the target block number.
- After that block is mined, its
blockhashis mixed with your entropy and the request ID to pick the outcome. - Nobody — not you, not us — can predict a future block hash, so the result can’t be ground or censored. Settlement is permissionless, and a fallback re-anchors the roll if it’s left unsettled too long.
This is fair against the operator today. A hardware VRF (e.g. Chainlink VRF, if available on Robinhood Chain) is the strictly-stronger upgrade and remains on the table for the highest-value drops.
Staking
Stake $PACKD for better odds and jackpot multipliers — buy-and-lock demand on top of spend demand.
| Tier | Stake | Perks |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 1× base | +2% rarer pulls, 1 free pack / week |
| Silver | 10× | +5% odds, 1 free pack / day |
| Gold | 50× | +10% odds, 1.25× jackpot |
| Diamond | 250× | +15% odds, 1.5× jackpot |
Contracts
| Contract | Role |
|---|---|
| PackdToken | The $PACKD token |
| FeeVault | Flap tax vault — accepts native ETH, 30/50/20 split, buyback pause + redirect switches, keeper-gated distribute |
| PrizeVault | Reserve + jackpot; buys and sends stock with oracle slippage; owner withdraw |
| PackSale | Drops, per-pack odds, commit-reveal open → permissionless settle |
| Staking | Tiers, odds boost (snapshotted at open), jackpot multiplier |
| TokenLaunchFactory | Gated launcher — only allow-listed wallets can deploy tokens |
Hard rule: a payout can never exceed vault reserves. No IOUs — every prize is a real on-chain swap + transfer, and swaps enforce an oracle-based slippage floor when a price feed is configured.
Solvency
- Every pack is designed with expected payout below its price (~84–87% RTP), so the reserve grows on each open before any fees are added.
- Single payouts are capped as a % of available reserve, and a pull can never exceed what the vault holds.
- Prize budgets shrink automatically if the reserve is low, so the vault can never be drained below zero.
- Flap trading tax continuously refills the reserve on top of pack proceeds.
